Frances Spiegel, born in London in 1947, is married with two grown up children. She received a general education at Dunraven Secondary Modern School in the late 1950s and then specialized in English and Journalism at Brixton College. In 1995 she graduated as a mature student from the Open University with an Honors Degree in Art History and a Diploma in European Humanities.
Frances has worked continuously throughout her adult life. She has held a variety of positions ranging from Researcher in Local Government and administrator in a residential home for the elderly to teaching disabled people to use computers.
She is currently a London-based freelance writer specializing in travel and the arts. As a regular contributor to a number of journals including "Letter Arts Review", "The Lady" and many others she has more than 500 articles published both in print and online.
